Donald Michaels' Obituary
Donald G. Michaels, age 75, of Elyria, passed away Saturday April 20, 2013 at New Life Hospice of St. Joseph, Lorain following a long illness.
Born in Cambria, PA, he grew up in Ligonier, PA. He had resided in North Ridgeville for 32 years before moving to Elyria in 2000.
He served in the US National Guard and was honorably discharged in 1966. Mr. Michaels worked as a Program Analyst for Chase Manhattan Mortgage Company retiring in 2000. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and bowling and was an avid sports fan.
Surviving is his wife of 13 years, Kathleen M. "Kit" (nee St. Peter); three step children; and seven step grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Ruth Michaels.
Private services are to be held at a later date.
