Donald Medders' Obituary
Donald W. Medders, age 61, of North Ridgeville, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at his home, following a long illness.
Born in Birmingham, Alabama, he resided in North Ridgeville for the past 40 years, moving from Cleveland.
Donald worked on the assembly line for Ford Motor Company in Brookpark for 30 years, retiring in 1996.
He was a member of Faith Baptist Temple, North Ridgeville and Masonic Lodge 0781 in Cleveland.
He enjoyed boating, fishing and Corvettes.
Survivors include his daughters, Connie (Jim) Banaska of LaGrange, Jessie (Jim) Lemerise of Medina, Tracie Medders of Sullivan; grandchildren, Allison, Brittany, Jacob, Justin, Josh, Matt and Nikki; sisters, Helena McDivits, Sylvia Hawk, Jeanette Duncan, Glenda Medders; brother, Mike Medders.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henly and Roberta Molly Medders; sisters, Marie Williamson, Betty McGee; brothers, Wayne and Wade Medders.
Friends may call Friday from 5-8 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 PM in the funeral home. Rev. Ray Carpenter, pastor of Faith Baptist Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
