Donald J. Jirousek's Obituary
Donald J. Jirousek, age 85, of North Ridgeville passed away peacefully, Friday, January 3, 2025, at UH St. John Medical Center. He was born in Cleveland and had lived most of his life in North Ridgeville. He was self-employed as an electrician for DJ&J Electric for 44 years. He was a member the US Army having served during the Korean War, VFW Post 9871 and St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church. Don enjoyed camping and spending time with his family. He is survived by daughter Malinda (Gary) Killiany of Lagrange; son Steve Jirousek of North Ridgeville; grandchildren Joseph (Shannon) Killiany, Kathryn Finn, Gwendolynn (Shawn) Sauer, Hannah Obremski, Stephanie Jirousek; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers Edward (Lonna) Jirousek of Elyria, Robert (Maryann) Jirousek of North Ridgeville, Gary (Patricia) Jirousek of North Ridgeville; sister-in-law Phyllis Jirousek of Elyria. He was preceded in death by his wife Sondra; parents Isabelle and Alva Jirousek; brother Thomas Jirousek; daughter Yvonne Sauer; son Dale Jirousek. Graveside service 1 pm Friday, January 17, 2025, at St. Peter Cemetery, North Ridgeville, with full military honor by VFW Post 9871.
