Donald Crozier's Obituary
Donald R. Crozier, age 94 of Elyria passed away Saturday February 27, 2010 at Wesleyan Village following a brief illness.
He was born in Bellaire, Ohio and had resided in Elyria over 70 years.
A graduate of Elyria High Class of 1935, he attended Elyria Business College.
Mr. Crozier was a Sergeant in the US Army serving during WWII.
He was a very active member of First Congregational United Church of Christ, Elyria. He taught Sunday school, was a former member of the Board of Trustees and chairmen of the Board of Deacons.
Mr. Crozier was of member of Frank Harmon Masonic Lodge 663 and enjoyed golfing and doing crossword puzzles.
He worked as Personnel Manager for Ridge Tool Company, retiring in 1978 after 35 years.
Surviving are son, Craig A. (Linda) Crozier of Brookhaven, MS, daughter, Karen (Arnie) Warkall of Sugarcreek, 5 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and a Brother, Gilbert Crozier of Daytona Beach, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his wife Florence, Parents Richard and Mary Crozier, 2 Brothers Wilbur Henry and Paul Edgar Crozier and sister, Marion Wickham.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 5-8PM and Wednesday from 9:30 AM until time of services at 10:30 AM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd. North Ridgeville. Reverend Christina Kukuk, Pastor of 1st Congregational United Church of Christ will officiate. Interment will follow in Ridgeville Cemetery, where the VFW Post 1079 will conduct full military honors.
