Don Macbeth's Obituary
Don Macbeth, of North Ridgeville, passed away on April 20, 2017 at Elyria Medical Center.
Don retired from NASA in 1981 and taught at POLARIS from 1981 until 1993. He was a former member of the Hot Rod Association, the United States Auto Club and was one of the top engine builders in the 1960s
He was born and raised in Rocky River, and lived in Fairview Park prior to moving to North Ridgeville in 1950.
He is survived by his wife, Marian Nauman (nee Siess); daughter, Linda (David) Fenzel of Grafton; son, Jeffrey (Beverly) of Grafton; grandchildren, Aaron (Erin) Fenzel, Ryan Fenzel, William (Lisa) Macbeth, Daniel (Deirdre) Macbeth, Sarah (Stephen) Macbeth Purcel; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Thomas (Janet) of Westford, MA.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Ann (nee Arth); parents, Donald D. and Ada (nee Miller) Macbeth; and a sister, Marilyn Macbeth Wappner.
The family will receive friends MONDAY, APRIL 24, 2016 from 10 AM until time of service at 12 NOON in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Interment will take place in Lakewood Park Cemetery. Pastor Patrick Nicolino will officiate.
