Dolores Y.'s Obituary
Dolores Y. Loy, age 76, of Elyria, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at her home following a long illness.
Born in Ames, Iowa, she had been a resident of Elyria for 30 years, moving from North Ridgeville.
Mrs. Loy worked as an office manager for U-Store-It in Middleburg Hts., for 20 years, retiring in 2002.
She was a member of North Ridgeville Baptist Church and enjoyed taking care of her home, family and her puppies Cosby and Toto.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Charles; sons, Steven (Tammy) Loy of Delray Beach, Florida, Michael Loy of Sheffield Village, M. Dean (Dawn) Loy of Port St. Lucie, Florida, J. Wesley Loy of Delray Beach, Florida; daughters, Vicki (Harold) Horner of Lorain, Melinda (Eric) Woody of Elyria, Jennifer (Joe) Batovsky of Elyria; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother Richard Barrett and parents Darwin J. and Mamie Barrett (nee Thoreson).
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2007 at 2:00PM at North Ridgeville Baptist Church, 5400 N. Lear Nagle Road, North Ridgeville, Ohio 44039. Eric Woody will officiate.
