Dolores A. Barnick's Obituary
Dolores A. Barnick (nee Warner), age 91, of Strongsville, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at the Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake. She was born on April 15, 1931 in Cleveland and has lived in Strongsville for the past 45 years, moving from Lakewood. She worked as a supervisor in retail sales for many years.
Dolores was an avid golfer, golfing until she was 89 years old. She loved to read and would share her books with family and friends. She enjoyed playing cards, good food and going out to lunch. Family gatherings were a favorite of hers, and the summer months would find her sitting on the back porch, enjoying the sunshine.
Dolores is survived by her children Debi (Robin) Moss of Grafton, Mark (Cathy) Zeiger of Westchester, Ohio, Mike (Tracy) Zeiger of Cleveland and Pat Greenwell of Cape Coral, FL; stepchildren Debbie (David) Hitchens of Columbia Station, Mike (Sheila) Barnick of Strongsville and Danny Jr. (Holly) Barnick of Kennesaw, GA; grandchildren Carrie, Melissa, Jason, Joshua, Sara, Katherine, Kyle, Robert, Matt, Jennifer, Bryan and Hope; great grandchildren Corey, Cody, Chasidy, Brandon, Payten, Joshua Jr., Zachary, Zeke and Rachel; great-great grandchildren Otto, Henry, Anniston, Bradley and Hazel Mae.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dan Barnick Sr.; parents Robert and Gladys (nee Weil) Warner.
The family will be announcing a celebration of Dolores’ life at a later date.
