Diane Marquis' Obituary
Diane Marquis (nee Milicic), age 60 of Avon passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Friday, September 25, 2009. She was born in Elyria and had been an Avon resident for the past 8 years moving from North Ridgeville where she had resided for 30 years. A homemaker, Diane had also worked with flowers at numerous local greenhouses over the years. She enjoyed flower gardening at home as well as collecting figurines and bears. She also enjoyed travel especially trips to Florida. Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Robert Marquis, a sister, JoAnn (Charles) Zan of Avon, a brother, James (Phyllis) Milicic of Astatula, FL, a sister-in-law, Jan Milicic of LaGrange and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Teresa (Smith) and Michael Milicic, a sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Pincura and a brother, Robert Milicic. Friends will be received from 3-5 & 7-9 P.M. Monday, September 28, 2009 at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville where funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, September 29, 2009. Rev. Chuck Behrens will officiate. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon. Memorial contributions are suggested to a charity of choice.
