Delbert Myers' Obituary
Delbert D. Myers, age 85, of Oxon Hill, Maryland, formerly of North Ridgeville passed away Wednesday April 25, 2012 at his home after a long illness.
Mr. Myers served in the US Army 10th Infantry Division during World War II and was a recipient of the Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon and the Philippine Liberation Ribbon.
Del has been a resident of Oxon Hill, Maryland since 1967, moving from Frederickburg, Virginia.
He is survived by his beloved wife Lois Myers; sister, Devona Grundy of North Ridgeville; brother, Leo Myers of Elyria; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Delbert's Life Celebration on Friday, April 27 from 6pm until time of services at 7 pm at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD. Private interment will be in Ridgeville Cemetery, North Ridgeville, Ohio.
