Deborah "Debbie" J. Merkel's Obituary
Deborah “Debbie” J. Merkel (nee Rubel), age 63, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Accord Health Care in Middleburg Hts.
She was born in Berea and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for over 20 years.
Deborah worked as a chemist for Foseco in Brookpark for many years.
She was a social member of North Ridgeville VFW Post 9871 and loved socializing and attending fundraising events.
Survivors include her fiancé, Jeffrey Aho; son, Daniel Wheary of Lorain; sisters, Denise Moore of Cleveland, Darlene Snell of Thornton, Colorado and Donna Rubel of Brunswick.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Merkel; parents, Joseph and Peggy (nee Sullans) Rubel.
Friends may call Friday from 10AM until the time of services at 11AM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville.
Private burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
