Deborah Bennett's Obituary
Deborah L. Bennett (nee Hay), age 58, of Elyria, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2007 at St. John Westshore Hospital, Westlake, following a brief illness.
She was born in Washington, Pennsylvania and had been a resident of Elyria for the past 32 years moving from N. Eaton.
Mrs. Bennett was a member of Lowell Street Baptist Church, Elyria and enjoyed painting, ceramics, crocheting, reading and being with her grandchildren. She was also a foster parent of over 100 children.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Clarence; daughters, Michelle Bennett, Deborah Jones and Sarah Bennett all of Elyria; four grandchildren; sisters, Debbie (Mike) Jenkin of Washington, PA, Cindy (Harley) Davison of Portland, TN; brothers, Steve Davis of Washington, PA, Danny (Tina) Davis of Bowling Green, KY; Aunt Carol and Uncle Wayne Ramsey of Venango, PA ; 21 nieces and nephews including Trudy Steadham of Birmingham, AL and parents Larry and Mary Davis of Buffalo, PA.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Tammy Davis.
Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00AM in the funeral home. Rev. Edwin Gore, Pastor of Lowell Street Baptist Church , will officiate.
Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
