David Taylor's Obituary
David L. Taylor, age 65, of Eaton Twp., passed away on Friday, October 12, 2012 at his home, after an 18 month battle with brain cancer.
He was born in Berea and had been a resident of Eaton Twp. for 42 years moving from Columbia Station.
He served in the US Army stationed in Italy during the Vietnam War era.
He worked as a machinist at Van Dorn Demag and Nordson for many years. He also worked at Eaton True Value Hardware.
David was a baseball coach for North Eaton Hot Stove for many years and also for Columbia High School Baseball. He was a great guitar player, voracious reader, enjoyed painting with water colors and had a great sense of humor.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Virginia; son, Adam (Terea Tukes) Taylor of Louisville, Kentucky; daughter, Stephanie (David) Conrad of Rochester; granddaughters, Megan, Erin and Samantha Conrad; brother, John (Eleanor) Moore of Indianapolis; sisters, Marilyn Teeple of Brunswick, Judy (John) Miller of Columbia Station; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Edith Yuengert and parents, Leslie and Hope (nee Cooley) Taylor.
Friends may call Saturday, October 20, 2012 from 4 PM until the time of Memorial Service at 6 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville.
