David L. Shultz's Obituary
David L. Shultz, age 69, of Dalton, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at his cabin in Dalton.
He was born in Pocahontas, Virginia and had been a resident of Dalton for the past three years after moving from Parma.
David worked in shipping and receiving for Finest Grocery stores, retiring in 1995 after 33 years.
He was a member of Food Workers Union Local 880 and enjoyed remodeling
Survivors include his sons, Joe Burress of Superior, Wisconsin, David A. “Tony”(Sonia) Shultz of Dalton; daughter, Lisa (David) Holbert of Parma; grandchildren, Tyler, Jordan, Shanoah, Aaron (Ashliegh), Lauren (Shane), great grandchildren, Parker and Reverie and his brother Sonny Shultz of Pocahontas, Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda in 2014; sisters, Gracie Harless, Mary Uldrich, Agnes Massey, Edna Reynolds, Ollie Wiley, brother, Albert Thomas; parents, Frank and Thelma Shultz.
The family will receive friends Monday from 5:30 PM until time of services at 6:30 PM at Wooster Apostolic Pentecostal Church, 3030 South Columbus Road, Wooster, officiated by his son Pastor David A. Shultz, Pastor Ben Robinson, Pastor Dan M. Denton and Bishop Dan Denton. A graveside service will take place at 12 noon Wednesday at Fields Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
Memorial contributions are suggested to The Prayer House 15478 Lincoln Way West Dalton, Ohio 44618.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bogner Family Funeral Home, North Ridgeville.
