David E. Rutherford's Obituary
David E. Rutherford, age 84, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at his home.
He was born in Centerville, Pennsylvania and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for 50 years.
He served in the US Army from 1955-1958.
David worked as a machine press operator for General Motors retiring in 1990.
He enjoyed woodworking and volunteering as a Boy Scout leader.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Edna Arlene Rutherford; children, Sharon Draper of Elyria, Mark of Connecticut, Brian (Brenda) of Elyria, Lisa (Bill) Nachman of Tennessee; 8 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Martin; many nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandson Craig Draper; parents, William and Mary Jane Rutherford; brothers, Harry, William, Charles, George and Don; sister, Mary Jane; son-in-law, Ray Draper.
A private family memorial will be held.
