David L. Paull's Obituary
David L. Paull, age 87, of Elyria, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at UH Elyria Medical Center. He was born on September 3, 1933 in Harrisburg, PA and had been a resident of Elyria for the past 54 years. He worked as an engineer for many years before retiring from The Elyria Foundry in 1999. He was a member of the US Army serving as an MP in Korea. He was also a member of Elyria United Methodist Church, the Elyria Gun Club and NRA. Dave was an avid gun collector and enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, building and flying model airplanes, traveling to blue grass shows and watching the History Channel and Food Network. He is survived by his nieces Christine Conrad of Elyria, Tammy Reaser of Grafton and many other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia in 2019; parents Frank and Lovenia. Respecting social distancing and the wearing of masks family will receive friends Sunday, April 25, 2021 from 2 to 4 pm. Service will be Monday at 10 am in the funeral home and will be live streamed on the funeral home Facebook page. Pastor Alan Jenkins will officiate. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon with full military honors. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve www.hospicewr.org.
