David Allen Messer's Obituary
David Allen Messer, age 45, of Elyria, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at the University Hospital Elyria Medical Center after a brief illness.
He was born on February 17, 1976 in Cleveland and has been a resident of Elyria for the past 23 years. David was a 1995 graduate of North Ridgeville High School and went on to graduate from the J.V.S. Culinary School, working as a cook for most of his life. Cooking for David expanded outside of work, and he will be remembered by his family for the great soups and pies that he made for them. In his free time, he loved watching Fast and Furious and Star Wars movies and classic car shows.
He is survived by his daughters Mikayla L. Messer and Angel; parents Wayne (Paula) Messer; brother Robert Wayne Light, sister Karlie Messer; many nieces and nephews; fiancé Stacey Krage.
David was preceded in death by his mother Delores Messer; brother Doug Light; sisters Tammy Messer and Theresa Light.
Family will receive friends in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville on Friday from 6-8 p.m. Interment will be private.
