David H. Hanna's Obituary
David H. Hanna, age 77, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at University Hospital Elyria Medical Center, following a brief illness.
He was born in Salem and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 48 years, moving from Guilford Lake.
David served in the US Army from 1962-1964, then transferred into the Army Reserves, where he served until 1967.
He worked as a Supervisor of Reservations for United Airlines, retiring in 1986 after 30 years.
He was an avid golfer and enjoyed bowling, following politics and gardening.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Flo (nee Nicholson); daughter, Cindy (Chuck) Aardema of Cincinnati; son, David W. of Parma; grandchildren, Matthew and Ava McCourt; brother, Dr. John (Nancy) Hanna of Columbus; sister, Marjorie (Gerry) Hoffman of Boston, Massachusetts.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Phoebe (nee Stoudt) Hanna; sister, Louise Breazeale.
Friends may call Friday, July 8th from 10AM until the time of Memorial Service at 11AM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Rev. Chuck Behrens will officiate.
