Danny K. "Gray Wolf" Chaffin Sr.'s Obituary
Danny K. “Gray Wolf” Chaffin Sr., age 71, of Elyria, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2018 at University Hospital Elyria Medical Center.
He was born in Crum, West Virginia and had been a resident of Elyria for most of his life.
Danny worked as a machinist for Dove Manufacturing retiring in 1999. He previously worked for Standby Screw Machine in Berea.
He was an avid drag racing fan and enjoyed building drag cars with his son. He also loved to go to casinos and spend time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Diane (nee Perkins); son, Danny (Christie) Chaffin Jr. of Grafton; daughters, Tina (Chris) Madlem and Angela (Donald) Burgess both of Elyria; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Bill of Aberdeen, Washington, Charles (Carla) and David both of Elyria; sisters, Mamie Muncy of Amherst, Sue Roberts of Aberdeen, Washington and Wanda (Denny) Queen of North Ridgeville.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Ora Mae Tygart, Patricia Sizemore; parents, Truman and Viola Chaffin.
Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Services will be held on Thursday at 11AM in the funeral home. Rev. Nina Mangan will officiate.
Burial will follow Resthaven memory Gardens, Avon.
