I miss you, Dad. Can you believe your grandbabies are almost all grown up? Bella turned 10 in April. She is so beautiful and smart. You would be so proud of her. Briella just turned 8, she has a heart of gold, and just such a kind & gentle soul. You would be so proud of her, too. And Jakoby is 6 now. I know you didn't get to know him all that well. You only had a month together. But he would have loved you, I know that in my heart. He would have been your best friend, your buddy. He reminds me so much of D.J. Sometimes, it breaks my heart. Bella misses you so much. She can't talk about you without crying. Please, if you can, comfort her. She was your best friend. Going on without you has been hard. I wish I had something to quiet these storms in my head. Instead, I have to rely on medications. Missing you all the time. With you always 💔❤️‍🩹

5 years… I wish I could say it gets easier but I have had to grow around my grief & shove it in a box…
Growing up I always thought you were invincible & nothing could take you away but unfortunately that’s not how life works.
You were like Superman to me, I hope I’m making you proud, even in my hard days ❤️‍🩹
