Daniel G. Lubinski Sr.'s Obituary
Daniel G. Lubinski, age 84, of North Ridgeville passed away Sunday at Ames Family Hospice, Westlake following a long illness.
He was born and grew up in Cleveland, moving to North Ridgeville in 1961.
Mr. Lubinski served in the US Army during the Korean War.
He worked as a machine repairman for General Motors Chevy Parma Plant retiring in 1980 after 30 years and was a member of UAW Local 1005.
His hobbies included fishing, hunting, gardening and walking his dog. He was also an avid sports fan.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years Dorothy (nee Wheeler), sons, Dan (LeeAnn) Jr. of Amherst, twins Darryl of North Ridgeville and Dennis of Eaton Township, three grandchildren, Danielle (David) Hinrich, Darryl Lubinski and Daniel J. Lubinski, Brother Ronald (Carol) Lubinski of Maple Heights and Sister Linda (Ed) Heimberger of Parma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan and Jennie Lubinski and one brother, Arthur Lubinski.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville where services will be 10 AM Wednesday. Rev. Bob Sanson will officiate. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
