Daniel Akers' Obituary
Daniel L. Akers, age 23 of Elyria, died Friday, May 19, 2006 at Medina General Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born May 24, 1982 in Oberlin.. He had resided in Elyria the past 3 years having moved from Grafton.
Mr. Akers graduated from JVS/ Midview High School in 2001 where he had studied Diesel Technology. He was currently working at Shiloh-Medina Stamping Division.
He enjoyed spending time with his son.
Surviving are his Son, Alexander B. Schrock of Elyria; companion, Stacee Storrow of LaGrange; Parents Jim D. and Julia L. Akers, 2 brothers, Christopher and Jim Akers Jr. 3 Sisters, Kimberly Akers, Jennifer Akers, Ashleigh Akers all of Elyria; Paternal grandmother, Wanda Akers of LaGrange, and maternal grandparents John and Sandra Yeaples of Albion,, PA;
He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandfather, Roger D. Akers.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 PM Monday at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home with Rev. William Mullins, Pastor of North Eaton Church of God officiating.
Interment will follow in the Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria, Ohio.
