Dallas R. Hatmaker's Obituary
Dallas R. Hatmaker, age 80, of Elyria, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024, at O’Neill Healthcare in Bay Village.
He was born in Briceville, Tennessee and had been a resident of Elyria for the past 22 years moving from Cleveland.
He served his country in the US Marines.
Dallas served in the US Marine Corp and worked as a machinist for General Electric for 25 years, retiring in 1999.
He enjoyed doing puzzles and playing card games.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Jean (nee Adkins), children, Linda Hatmaker of Avon Lake, Randy (Sherry) Hatmaker of Lakewood, Laura McGrath of Elyria, Lisa (Roger) Kight of Parma, Butch Hager of Milwaukee, WS, grandchildren, Jason and Amanda Hatmaker, Ryan, Chelsea and Devon Hager and Jenny McGrath, great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Chance Harvey and Emma Whitmore, sisters, Mary Melton and Connie Ward. .
He was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Alma (nee Peace) Hatmaker.
Private services will be held with interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery
