Dale T. Nix's Obituary
Dale T. Nix, age 64, of North Ridgeville, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Ames Family Hospice in Westlake. He was born in Cleveland and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 25 years, formerly of West Park. He was a crane operator at Ford for 33 years before retiring in 2010. He was a former member of The Denbrook Chapter of Demolay. Dale was a huge Steelers fan, loved being outside and working in the yard and enjoyed bow hunting, fishing, golfing, watching horse races, loved his dog Scruffy, but especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandsons. He is survived by his wife of 27 years Nicole (Nee Tomasek); children Jennifer (Michael) Franz of North Ridgeville, Nathaniel Nix of Middleburgh Hts., Gabrielle Nix of Parma; grandsons Jordan and Camden Franz; sister Debbie (Ken) Ward of Valley City; niece Kelly Ward; nephew Ken Ward. He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas M. and Lucille Nix. Family will receive friends Sunday from 2-6pm at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Mask are required. Funeral service Monday at 11am in the funeral home. Pastor Alan Jenkins will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Avon.
