Dale A. Nanasy's Obituary
Dale A. Nanasy, age 67, of North Ridgeville, passed away on August 5, 2015 at University Hospital in Cleveland after a lengthy illness.
He was born on October 13, 1947 in Lakewood, Ohio, and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 11 years, moving from Olmsted Falls.
Dale worked as a tool maker for the Ford Motor Company for 28 years, retiring in 2006.
A lover of cars, Dale could often be found working on his Corvette, which he raced for many years, and was a member of Cleveland Corvette Club. In years past, he also worked on and rode motorcycles. He enjoyed his retirement by spending time with his family and friends at his trailer. More than anything else, Dale’s greatest joy was found in spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Holly (nee Stone); daughters Wendy (Scott) Heaston of North Ridgeville and Megan (Mike) Peters of North Ridgeville; grandchildren Kira Heaston and Olivia, Madelyn and Quinn Peters.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents Albert J. and Alice (nee Gnhues) Nanasy.
Memorial Service Saturday, August 15 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gateway Community Church, 5400 Lear Nagle Rd., N. Ridgeville 44039. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association at https://www.phassociation.org/donate.
