Dale F. Gobeille's Obituary
Dale Gobeille, age 61, passed away on Tuesday, July 10,2018. He was born on August 19, 1956 in Woonsocket, RI and had been a resident of Elyria for the past year, where he and his wife operated The John Lersch House bed and breakfast. He grew up in North Smithfield, RI and raised his family in North Attleboro, Massachusetts. He also lived in Duncan, South Carolina.
Dale served in the US Army and worked at EMC2 and Hitachi as a customer support engineer. He was active at St. Peter Catholic Church and was a Christ Life-Discovering Christ volunteer. He was a fan of custom Mopar, enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, playing guitar, singing southern rock and country music, golf, billiards, playing hockey, and was a New England Patriots fan.
He is survived by his wife Alice (Denomme); children Daniel (Sarah) Gobeille of Rome, NY., Marc (Tiffany) Rahl of Chantilly, VA., Keith (Jamie) Rahl of Albemarle, NC., Rita (Kris) Roy of Raynham, MA, Donald (Karen) Rahl III of Eastannole, GA; 13 grandchildren; brother William (Daniel Kinane) Gobeille of Albuquerque, NM.; sister Marjorie (Louis) Beaubien of Cumberland, RI.; He was preceded in death by his parents, William (Shirley Germershausen) Gobeille and Marjorie Gobeille. Visitation will be Sunday, July 15, 2018 from 2-5 pm at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville where a prayer service will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 9:30AM followed by a 10AM Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church. 35777 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Rev Bob Franco, Pastor, will be the celebrant.
Inurnment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Wednesday at 11AM with full military honors.
