Coy L. McMahan's Obituary
Coy L. McMahan, age 71, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at St. John Medical Center in Westlake surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Sevierville, Tennessee and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 45 years, moving from the Lakewood and Cleveland area.
Coy was the manager of Lorain Wilbert Vault Company before retiring in 2000, after 27 years. He also owned and operated North Ridgeville Tree Service for many years.
He attended St. Peter Church in North Ridgeville.
He enjoyed playing softball, shooting pool and being with his family, spending time with his grandchildren was his most favorite thing to do.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Carol (nee Balawender); daughters, Wendy (David) Best of North Ridgeville, Lisa (Jerry) Evans of Lorain; grandchildren, Cierra and Sam Best, Lauren, Zachery and Lindsey Evans; brother, Jimmy (Sandy) McMahan of Westlake; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Walter and Doshia Mae (nee Williams) McMahan; brothers, Kenneth and Bobby McMahan and sister, Lillian McMahan.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-5PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Andrew Hoover will officiate.
