Corazon Salapare's Obituary
Corazon V. Salapare (nee Virtusio), age 94, of Sheffield Village, passed away Monday at her home following a long illness.
She was born in San Juan Batangas, Philippines and had been a resident of Sheffield Village since 2005 moving from North Ridgeville where she resided for 27 years.
Mrs. Salapare worked as a teacher for the public schools in the Philippines.
She was member of St. Jude's Catholic Church in Elyira.
She enjoyed flower gardening, socialization and taking care of her grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters, Mrs. Dr. Leo (Dr. Nora) Perez of Pleasant Praise, WS, Mrs. Dr. Jose (Dr.Teresita) Ocampo and Dr. Christmas Salapare both of Sheffield Village; 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; sister, Aniceta Manuel of Laguna, Philippines; nieces Estella Ortega of Pensacola, Florida, Sasa Manuel of Laguna, Philippines; relatives and close friends .
She was preceded in death by her husband, Engracio B. Salapare; daughter Fe Salapare; parents, Dominador and Juliana Virtusio; sisters, Guadalupe Ramos, Fortunata Virtusio; granddaughter, Maria Corazon Perez.
Private services will be held.
Burial will be in San Juan Batangas Catholic Cemetery, Philippines.
