Cora J. Terry's Obituary
Cora J. Terry (nee Wright), age 84, of Elyria, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Center Ridge Nursing Home, North Ridgeville.
She was born in Helenwood, Tennessee and had been a resident of Elyria for the past 18 years moving from Berea.
She worked taking care of laundry at various local nursing homes.
Cora was a member of Lakewood Freewill Baptist in Grafton, where she was involved with the Ladies Circle.
She enjoyed going to flea markets and garage sales.
Survivors include her husband, Julice “Pete” Slone; sons, Rick (Peggy) Terry of Chelsea, Alabama, Raymon (Tami) Terry of North Ridgeville; 7 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ovia in 1988; parents, Hubert and Linda Wright; brother, Ray Wright; granddaughter, Natashia.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-5PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Services will be held on Monday at 11 AM in the funeral home. Rev. Mike Richards will officiate.
Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
