Cora Arwood's Obituary
Cora L. Arwood (nee Byrd), age 87, of Westlake passed away at her home Saturday August 8, 2009 following a short illness.
She was born in Annedale, TN. She had resided in Westlake the past 13 years having moved from Wooster. She previously had lived in Cleveland.
Mrs. Arwood enjoyed quilting, painting ceramics and cooking.
Surviving are her daughter, Wanda (Raymond) McConnon, grandchildren Marion Chambers, Daniel McConnon, Lisa Slater and Krista Platsky, fifteen great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and one sister Maggie Jeffers of Oneida, TN.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Marion Chambers in 1959, her second husband, Jack Arwood, infant son Marion Chambers, son James Chambers, parents, Henry and Maude Byrd, two brothers, and four sisters.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 10:30 AM until time of service at 11:30 AM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Jack Ison, Pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
