Constance Lee "Connie" Smith's Obituary
Constance Lee “Connie” Smith (nee Gomoll), age 71, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Regency West Hospital in Middleburg Hts.
She was born in Amherst, grew up in Grafton and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for 47 years.
Connie worked in accounting for Energizer for many years, retiring in 2016.
She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville.
She enjoyed reading, spending time wither family, especially her grandchildren, yard work and fishing.
Survivors include her sons, Scott (Marla) Smith of Lorain, Brian (Laura) Smith of Avon, stepson, Bill Wilson of Vermilion, grandchildren, Nathan, Cassandra, Lilly, Thomas and Caton, great-grandchild, Kade, sister, Chris Clapper of North Ridgeville, Crystal Switzer of Wellington, brother, Carl Gomoll of Bay Village.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, parents, Carl and Hazel (nee Koski) Gomoll.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 10AM at St. Peter Church, 35777 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Bob Franco, Pastor, will be the celebrant.
Burial will be at St. Peter Cemetery.
