Clivy W. Griggs Jr.'s Obituary
Clivy W. Griggs Jr., age 50, of Elyria, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2015 in Coshocton following injuries he sustained in an ATV accident.
He was born in Pontiac, Michigan and had spent most of his life living in Elyria.
He worked as a carpenter for Sommers in Elyria for the past several years.
Clivy attended Midway Baptist Church and enjoyed the great outdoors by hunting, fishing and driving his ATV. He also loved to work on cars.
Survivors include his daughters, Kirsty (Brian) Lanier of Crouse, North Carolina, Samantha (Colton) Ulrich of Grovetown, Georgia; son, Clivy “CJ” Griggs of Elyria; former wife, Becky Griggs of Elyria; mother, Helen Dina of Elyria; father, Clivy Griggs Sr. of Ashland; step-father, John Dina of North Ridgeville; sisters, Nancy Hughes and Sibyl (Rick) Londo both of Elyria; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of services at 11 AM in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Rev. Chuck Keesee will officiate.
Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery.
