Clifford "Kip" H. Warner's Obituary
Clifford “Kip” H. Warner, age 72, of Elyria, passed away on June 16, 2023, after a long illness. He was born in Cleveland and has been a resident of Elyria for the Past 40 years, formerly of North Ridgeville. He worked as a floor layer for himself for many years, before retiring in 2008. Kip was a member of the VFW post 1079 of Elyria, Amvets, the Moose Lodge, and Carpenters Local Union No. 373. He enjoyed golfing, working on cars, drag strip racing, his corvette, and spending time with his family. Kip was in the US Navy and served on the USS Enterprise for four years during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years Bonnie, children Shane Croxton, Tracy Warner, Heather Bryant, Wendy (Chirs) Little, Shannon (Kenny) Kotlas, Kip Warner, Kimberly Warner, and 18 grandchildren.
Kip was preceded by his parents Naomi (nee Grossbaugh) and Clair H. Warner.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 7pm at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. There will also be a funeral service on Thursday, beginning at 11am. Rev. Alan Jenkins will officiate. VFW post 1079 of Elyria will provide military honors. Burial will follow at Elmhurst Cemetery in Avon.
