Clifford Bring's Obituary
Clifford W. "Red" Bring, age 78, of North Ridgeville passed away Friday February 12, 2010 at New Life Hospice Residential Center, Lorain following a long illness.
He was born in Lorain and grew up in Sheffield Village. He had resided in North Ridgeville the past 47 years.
Mr. Bring served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War.
He worked as a Pump Test Engineer for Lear Romec for 42 years retiring in 1996.
He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, North Ridgeville where he served as an usher for many years. He was also a member of VFW Post 1079, Elyria.
His hobbies included vegetable gardening, bowling, making crafts such as bird houses and squirrel feeders and visiting with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Dorothy A. (nee Machovina), two sons, David (Barbara) of Elyria and Steve (Mary) Bring of Grafton, five daughters, Patricia (Thomas) Yannetti of Pittsburgh, Jeanne (Edward) Cline of Amherst Twp., Susan Briant of Elyria, Donna (David) Conner of Mooresville, NC and Lisa (Fred) Seaburg of Carlisle twp., 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, and two sisters, Virginia (Robert) Guy of Sheffield Village and Kathleen (Ed) O'Conner of Amherst.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Adella Bring.
The family will receive friends Monday from 5-8 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville where a prayer service will held 9:30 AM Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM at St. Peter Church 35777 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Reverend Bob Franco, Pastor will be the celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Elyria.
The VFW Post 1079 will conduct full military honors at the grave site.
