Claudia K. Myer's Obituary
Claudia K. Myer passed away peacefully on May 3, 2026 after a hard-fought battle with lung cancer. Born in Lakewood, Ohio on October 8, 1954 to Carl and Mary Kerr, Claudia resided in North Ridgeville, Ohio for more than 40 years. Claudia is survived by her husband of 48 years Spencer Myer Jr. (her Nut); her son Spencer Myer III (Mario) and daughters Sarah Myer (Jaden) and Julia Pritchard (Tom); beloved grandchildren Avery, Peyton, and Thomas Pritchard Jr.; brothers David Kerr, Carl Kerr, and Jim Kerr; and sisters Kathy McMillan and Jackie Thomas. Claudia lived her life serving others selflessly, first as a nurse for 25 years in various capacities, including at St. John West Shore Hospital. She later opened her own private practice as a psychological counselor, supporting more than 1200 people until her retirement in 2025. Events honoring Claudia’s life will be held on Saturday, June 6th. The funeral service will be held at 10:30am at John Knox Presbyterian Church, located at 25200 Lorain Rd in North Olmsted, Ohio followed by a private burial. The immediate family will receive friends preceding the service starting at 9am. After the service concludes, friends and family are invited to join in celebrating Claudia’s life at Westwood Country Club at noon. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the impactful work done by Connecting for Kids (https://www.connectingforkids.org) and Hospice of the Western Reserve (https://reserve-care.org).
