Clarence Kielman's Obituary
Clarence M. "Doc" Kielman, age 75, of North Ridgeville died Tuesday at EMH Regional Medical Center following a short illness.
He was born in Vanceburg, KY. He had resided in North Ridgeville since 1977 moving from Lorain.
Mr. Kielman retired from General Motors Fisher Guide Plant in 1985 after 32 years of service.
He served in the US Air Force where he was a staff sergeant during the Korean War.
He was a member of the AMVETS Post 32, the VFW Post 1079, the American Legion in Wellington, the Elyria Eagles Club, United Polish Club and the Frank Harmon Masonic Lodge.
He enjoyed Blue Grass Music, Traveling, fishing, golfing, playing pool and horseshoes.
He is survived by his companion of many years, Dorothy Fees, three daughters, Carolyn Swords of Bidwell, Ohio, Patricia Rico of Carrollton, Georgia and Martha Sines of Carrollton, Georgia, two sons, Alan Kielman of Bellefontaine, Ohio and Timothy Kielman of Elyria, four step daughters, Lynette Kitts of Grafton, Lori Ford of Grafton, Wendy Fees of Grafton, and Noreen Humphrey of Lorain, 16 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and one sister, Lillie Shaw of Aberdeen, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his father, Burche Kielman, his mother, Anna Polley and one infant son.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday in the funeral home. Rev. Bill Shomo will officiate. Burial will be in River Road Cemetery, Lagrange Township. The VFW Post 1079 will conduct full military honors at the graveside.
