Clarence E. Davis' Obituary
Clarence “Click” Davis, age 93, of Westerville, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at the Landings of Westerville.
He was born in Altoona, Pennsylvania and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for many years before moving to Westerville.
Click served in the US Naval Reserves and US Army Reserves.
He worked as a sales manager for Nashua Corporation in the Norton Division in Cleveland. He retired in 1993 after 35 years.
He was a member of St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church in North Ridgeville where he served as Eucharistic Minister, Lector, adult server and was past president of Parish Council. He was a longtime member of the North Ridgeville Lions Club where he was past President in 1991. He volunteered at the North Ridgeville Senior Center on the Advisory Board and was Chairman in 2006-2007. He was the first President of both the Mills Creek and Ridgefield Homeowners Association from 1997-1999. He was also on the Fair Housing Board for North Ridgeville and Lorain County and was past Clerk of Council for the City of North Ridgeville in the 1970’s. Click enjoyed golfing, woodworking and traveling.
Survivors include daughters, Becky Covey of Westerville, Julie Sullivan (Bob Krech) of Galena, Linda Davis of Westerville, two grandchildren Jeff Dennis (Emily Burmeister) and Carly Trimboli (Kasey Trimboli) and 5 great-grandchildren: Luke, Hudson, Charlie, Ashlynn and Josie.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sally in August 2015, infant son, Gerard Davis, brothers, James and John Davis, parents Clarence and Catherine Davis.
Friends and family will be received on Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 11AM until the time of services at 12PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, OH 44039. Fr. Isidore Munishi will officiate.
Burial will be at St. Peter’s Cemetery, North Ridgeville immediately following the services.
