I will always be grateful for the day my Father married into the Sittinger family! They provided us with a strong, loving Christian relationship I will never forget. There was also an unbreakable bond between "Aunt" Clarabelle and her sister Coletta. She took Coletta's place carrying the communal gifts to the altar beside my Dad at our wedding. Clara also provided me with the best care and surgeons at St. Vincents Charity that gave me new hope after a motorcycle accident in my high school years! She was always dedicated to her job, giving all the patients under her care with what she did the best! "Aunt" Clara, thanks for all your fond memories and love that remains in our hearts!

We shared many a Sunday morning with Clara, as Collection Counters at St. Julie's. Clara had a great sense of humor. She was an avid sports fan. Clara always held true to her convictions and she would always let you know exactly how she felt about anything. She once told me she was glad she lived long enough for them to figure out how to do cataract surgery. No sand bags holding your head down, so that you developed pneumonia & died. It was much better to have the surgery in the morning & be done in time to go out to lunch with your friends ! Clara was for sure one of God's blessings. We still share a "Clara story" and laugh with her.
