Clara Jares' Obituary
Clara M. Jares, age 97, of North Ridgeville, Passed away Monday, June 18, 2012 at New Life Hospice of Lorain after a long illness.
She was born in Cleveland and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 61 years.
Clara worked for many years as a clerk at the J.C. Murphy Store in North Ridgeville and also served as a greeter for 15 years at the North Ridgeville Senior Center.
She enjoyed bowling for many years with the Star Shooters, spending time in her garden, reading, doing crossword puzzles and travelling.
She is survived by her sons Thomas Jares of Avon Lake, James Jares of Long Beach, CA and daughter Sharon (Gary) Lander of Wellington; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren; and sister Irene Fadenholz of Quaker City, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her Husband Henry Jares in 1986; daughter Arlene Spurlock, brother Frank Helebrand; sisters Catherine Swan and Pauline Helebrand; and parents Peter and Hermina (nee Zebreczeny) Helebrand.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. A funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Friday June 22, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Christopher Robinson will officiate. Interment in Resthaven Memory Gardens.
