Chester Naidzinski's Obituary
Chester Naidzinski, age 83, of North Ridgeville, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2009, at Villa Camillus, Columbia Station, following a 2 year illness.
Born in Cleveland, he was a resident of North Ridgeville since 1962.
Chester worked as a fabricator for Varity Steel in Cleveland for 32 years, retiring in 1992. During World War II, he worked as a civilian welder for the US Navy in the Philippines, repairing damaged ships.
He was a former member of Fields United Methodist Church, North Ridgeville.
He enjoyed playing the guitar, the great outdoors and hiking.
Survivors include daughters, Donna (Gene) Hostetler of Parma, Sue Repenning of North Olmsted; son, John of North Ridgeville; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Ben (Dolores) Naidznski of Medina and sister, Nellie Opalka of Parma.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mafalda "Mickey" Naidzinski (nee Collier) in 2002; step-son, Phillip Paladino; parents, Walter and Maude Naidzinski; brother, Walter and sisters, Mary Popovich, Helen Naidzinski and Becky Bond. .
Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 PM and from 6 until the time of services at 8 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Dr. James McClaren will officiate.
Private internment will be at Ridgeville Cemetery.
