Charlotte Stroud's Obituary
Charlotte L. Stroud (nee Malkin), age 85, of North Ridgeville, passed away Sunday at EMH Regional Medical Center, Elyria, following a long illness.
She was born in Clymer, Pennsylvania and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 40 years. She previously lived in East Cleveland.
She retired from the North Ridgeville City Schools in the 1970's where she worked in the cafeteria. She previously worked as a clerk for the Bailey Meter Company in Cleveland for 19 years.
Mrs. Stroud was a long time active member of Calvary Ridge Church of the Nazarene, North Ridgeville, where she was active with the Bible Study group and taught Sunday School. She enjoyed reading, number puzzles and flower gardening.
Survivors include son, George T. Stroud of North Ridgeville; daughters, Doris Schultz of Richfield, Barbara Langford of Parma; five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by husband George F. Stroud in 2004; brother, Gilbert Malkin; sister, Beth Turner and parents, Thomas and Charlotte Malkin.
Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Services will be held on Thursday at 10:00AM at Calvary Ridge Church of the Nazarene, 34881 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. David Woods, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Whitehaven Park Cemetery, Mayfield Village.
