Charley Browning Sr.'s Obituary
Charley Browning Sr., age 75, passed away on March 17, 2014 at the Pearlview Rehab and Wellness Center in Brunswick after a brief illness.
He was born on January 1, 1939 in Logan, West Virginia. Charley worked as a machine operator at Union Carbide Steel, retiring in 1994.
Charley was a family man through and through and a cherished and loving father and grandfather. An outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and collecting antique firearms.
He is survived by his son Charles (Chrissy) Browning of Bedford; grandchildren Amber (Ivan) Perez, Carley, Christopher and Cole Browning and Blake Morris; son in law Tracy Morris; brother Jesse (Pearl) Browning of WV; sisters in law Lula, June and Irene Browning; many nieces and nephews.
Charley was preceded in death by his wife Frances J. Browning in 2004; daughter Mona Browning; brothers Woodrow, Truman, Wayne and Kelly; sisters Pearl, Elsie and Nancy.
Graveside Services Thursday, March 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon. Rev. Michael Manosky will officiate.
