Charles Douglas Seasor's Obituary
Charles Douglas Seasor, age 68, of Oberlin, entered into the presence of the Lord on Sunday, May 24, 2026 at Mercy Health Medical Center in Lorain.
He was born in Charleston, West Virginia and had been a resident of Oberlin for the past two years moving from Elyria.
Charles was a hardworking and dependable man whose life was defined not by his words, but by quiet acts of love and sacrifice. He was the kind of man who never asked for recognition, never complained, and always put his family before himself. Behind his quiet nature was a deeply caring heart. He loved his family fiercely and believed in showing up, doing what needed to be done, and carrying responsibilities without seeking praise. His strength was steady and dependable, the kind that gave comfort simply by being there.
Charles worked as a Registered Nurse for 32 years. He earned an award for his extraordinary clinical skills and compassion towards patients. He enjoyed spending time with his family, working on cars, home renovations, and landscaping.
Survivors include his wife, Jodie (nee Jindra), Children, David (Jennifer) Seasor, Nichole (Austen) Gray, Grandchildren, Michael, Troy, Aubrey, Genevive, and Alayna. His siblings, Larry Seasor, Curtis Seasor, Jeffrey Seasor, and Debbie Mack as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Judy Ann (nee Roberts) Seasor Jr.
He will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved.
A private family service will be held to honor his life.
