Charles Obitts' Obituary
Charles L. Obitts, age 60, of Mechanics Twp., passed away Saturday, August 21, 2010 at his home, following a long illness.
He was born in Elyria and had been a resident of Mechanics Twp. for the past 5 years moving from North Ridgeville.
Mr. Obitts served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
Charles worked as a manager for Radio Shack for many years.
He loved the great outdoors, motorcycle riding and listening to music.
Survivors include his fianc?e, Susan French of Coshocton; daughter, Melanie (Chris) Thurman of Pikeville, Tennessee; son, Richard (Jessica) Obitts of Crossville, Tennessee; 6 grandchildren; sister, Louise (Ben) Barnett of North Ridgeville and niece, Bonnie Baum.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dean and Melissa Obitts.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 23, 2010 at 2:00PM at Sugar Ridge Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
