Scott was a Boulder Dr. original. As a teen, he would come and hang out with my brothers George and Carl. Before I knew it, we were all playing capture the flag in half the neighborhoods front yard, at darkthrity at night. Scott even let me much younger sister catch him a few times. It was cute and endearing. Summer, winter, fall we all would end up playing our version of rugby in our front yard. Scott was the hardest to bring down. My memories of this time are much fuller and I smile more often thinking of them, in part because he was part of them. I’m confident he is at peace and still looking out for his loved ones. – Michael
Scott an my brother and i, Scott Bruggeman, Scott Petras, Matt Petras, AL, David Bruggeman, we all hung out, annoyed each other and protected one another. You will be missed for sure my brother. Way too soon my friend, far to soon. Love you my friend. My condolences to Candy and the rest of the family, my prayers are with you.

Most of my "don't try this at home" shenanigans I did as a teenager was with Scott. My mother absolutely adored him and until this day would always ask about him. She said "He was the craziest friend you had but he was always very respectful and had a big heart" my mother, as I, were saddened hearing about his passing today.
While my memories of Scott are on the shorter side as we had just entered into an agreement late September to install a 6' wooden privacy fence. I was on vacation and received a call from Scott late Friday afternoon and we talked about the posts he had put up that day and that Saturday he would most likely complete the job aka " The Masterpiece " I had every confidence of the Masterpiece being every bit of that and more. When I received the telephone call from Rick Sunday evening ( grateful ) the last thing I thought he would share is Scott's very untimely passing. My heart sunk my heart still aching. In a short time I developed a fondness for Scotts forthright and honest approach to life and his abilities.
I may be his last customer but will never forget the impression he left and the posts that remain in place are forever my reminder of the man I wish I had known better and longer.
Heartfelt sympathies to the Miller family.

Sending The Miller Family Love from Boulder Drive!

Scott lived two doors down from us when we were growing up. He was a great guy with a big heart. I think about our childhood memories and all the fun we had growing up with each other. When I found out he had moved back to the neighborhood it gave me a sense of peace. Wish we can go back to those days!
I will miss you Scotty..RIP my friend!
Sincerely~
Your childhood friend
