Charles Mellinger's Obituary
Charles R. "Bob" Mellinger, 87 of North Ridgeville passed away peacefully at Center Ridge Health Campus, North Ridgeville on Sunday, January 23, 2011. He was born June 3, 1923 in Cleveland, OH and had resided in North Ridgeville since 2008. He worked as a dental technician for many years in the Greater Cleveland area retiring in the late 1980's. Bob was quite a story teller and he enjoyed fishing and playing cards. Survivors include a brother, Harry Mellinger of Olmsted Twp., a sister, Lee Vrsansky of Brooklyn, OH and several nieces and nephews including Roy Mueller with whom he made his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eva (Garrigues) and Roy Mellinger, 2 brothers, Reed and Evertt Mellinger and by 3 sisters, Margaret Mellinger, Pearl Orosz and Edith McDonnell. Funeral services 12 Noon Wednesday, January 26, 2011 in the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville where friends may call beginning at 11 A.M. Rev. Chuck Behrens will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
