Charles "Charlie" H. Frame's Obituary
Charles H. “Charlie” Frame, age 98, of Apple Creek, OH passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020 at his home. He was born May 2, 1922 in San Fernando, Nicaragua and had been a resident of Apple Creek for the past 17 years formerly of Elyria and North Ridgeville. He was a proud member of the US Army landing on Omaha Beach. He worked as a machine operator at GM before retiring in 1980. Charlie enjoyed woodworking, gardening, music and playing the guitar. He was a generous kind-hearted perfectionist who loved people and valued and took care of everything close to him. He is survived by his wife of 17 years Elsie; children Louisa Chibrus, Margaret Braman, Dennis (Linda L.) Frame of Tallmadge, Linda D. (Gary) Gambol of Canton; step-daughter Christine Schartman; 3 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; He was preceded in death by his wife Anna in 1994; parents Thurman and Maria Frame. Respecting social distancing and the wearing of masks family will receive friends Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville from 12PM until the time of service at 1PM. Pastor Keith Byler will officiate. Burial with full military honors will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
