Celia "Sis" Snyder's Obituary
Celia M. "Sis" Snyder (nee Gavorski), age 80, of Elyria, passed away Monday, October 31, 2011 at Cleveland Clinic following a short illness.
Born in Cleveland she had been a resident of Elyria for the past 60 years, moving from Avon.
She worked as a machine operator and supervisor for Dreco Inc. in North Ridgeville for many years.
Celia was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Elyria, Ladies of the Moose and Golden Moose, Elyria, American Polish Club, Elyria, Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 1079 and Eagles Aerie 431.
She enjoyed bowling, traveling and camping.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda (Charles) Crabeels of Elyria; son, Randy (Susan) Snyder of Norton; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon F. "Buzz" Snyder in 2006; son, David; parents, Frank and Celia Gavorski; brothers, Frank Jr. and Elmer Gavorski; sister, Bernice Kovesdy.
Friends may call Friday from 4 PM until the time of service at 6 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Charles Diedrick will officiate.
Private burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
