Cecil Goodrich's Obituary
Cecil M. Goodrich, age 76 of North Ridgeville passed away Thursday December 4, 2008 at The Villa Camillus in Columbia Station following a lengthy illness. He was born in Jacksonburg, WV and had resided in North Ridgeville for the past 52 years. Mr. Goodrich served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a welder for ABEX Corp. in Elyria for 45 years. Cecil enjoyed traveling and working in his yard. Survivors include his wife, Patricia M. (Nee Williams), son, David (Lori) Goodrich of Greenwich, daughter, Vicki (Joe) Gaither of Parma Heights, grandchildren, Matthew and Christopher Goodrich, two brothers, Emery Goodrich of Columbia Station and Harry Goodrich of Jacksonburg, WV, sister, Joy Greuser of Elyria and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Orpha Goodrich, by brothers, Russell and Evert and by sisters, Flossie, Virginia and Freda. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Monday, December 8, 2008 at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville where funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday. Rev. Ray Carpenter will officiate. Interment will follow in the Ridgeville Cemetery.
