Catherine J. Truslow's Obituary
Catherine J. Truslow (nee Hama), age 88, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at the New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain after a lengthy illness.
She was born on April 30, 1936 in Lakewood, and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 11 years, moving from North Olmsted.
Catherine loved to dance and enjoyed playing Bingo and the lottery. One of her favorite pastimes was watching the deer in her yard. She found her greatest joy in cooking for and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughters Christine Strimpel of Elyria, Sandra (James) Koch of Elyria, Linda Riddell of Elyria and Kathie (Scott) Froehlich of North Olmsted; son William (Crystal) Truslow of North Ridgeville; grandchildren Renee, Darlene, Laura, Kimberly, Kevin, Brooke, Brian, Matthew, Jeffrey Jr., Brandi, Scottie, Brianna and Brandon; 16 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Catherine was preceded in death by her son Jeffrey Tresch Sr.; son-in-law Lawrence Riddell; parents Joseph and Anna (nee Borousky) Hama; siblings Joseph, John, Paul, Frank, Andrew, Michael, Steven, Anne, Terry, Rose, Julie and Helen.
Family will receive friends in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville, on Tuesday, October 1 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Service Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Dottie Perez will officiate.
Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park.
