Catherine Helen Pomeroy's Obituary
Catherine Helen Pomeroy, age 95, of Elyria, passed away Friday, August 16, 2019 at Symphony of the Falls in Olmsted Falls. She was born in Lorain and has been a lifelong resident of Elyria. She was a Lorain High School graduate class of 1942B and member of St. Agnes Church. She worked at JC Penney Catalog for 25 years before retiring in 1990. Catherine enjoyed walking, traveling, hiking and camping. She is survived by her son Robert A. (Judy) of North Ridgeville; daughter Barbara (Donald) Robinson of North Olmsted; grandchildren Robb Pomeroy, Donald Robinson, Kelly Putney; great-grandchildren Emily Putney, Sydney Catherine Putney. She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Robert E. Pomeroy; daughter Karen Marie; sister Elaine Schoof; brothers Gerald Blinzley, Colonel Blinzley. Services will be private.
